Enable Task Manager

  • Step 1: Type this command as it is in Start -> Run and hit OK. REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
  • Step 2: Download Enable TM (.reg file in a compressed archive) and run it under administrative mode.
  • Step 3:

a) Go to Start->Run->gpedit.msc and hit OK.
b) Navigate to this branch: User Configuration / Administrative Templates / System / Ctrl+Alt+Delete Options / Remove Task Manager
c) Double-click the Remove Task Manager option.
d) Set the policy to Not Configured.
